Since its inception in 1975 Laga Industries Ltd. has grown from humble beginnings to become a significant FMCG manufacturer in PNG.

2nd July 2018 saw the acquisition of Laga Industries Ltd. by Paradise Company Ltd. from Steamships Trading Company. The purchase was complimentary to both entities and secured Laga’s future with 100% local ownership in Papua New Guinea and is on track to create a world-class company that PNG can be proud of. 

Today, Laga Industries Ltd. focuses on a range of ice cream and freezer products, bottled water, and a range of well-known specialty consumer items such as curry powder, milk powder, and drink powder mixers to name a few. Our 2 Big brands, Gala Ice-cream, and Tropical Oasis water have become common brand names in the household and throughout the nation.
